After a challenging 11 weeks of Stay At Home restrictions, the Northern Beaches are set to move out of lockdown on the first Monday after the state has reached 70% double vaccination coverage of people aged 16 and over. Whilst there is no fixed date for this, forecasters project it to be Monday 18th October.
One thing is for certain however, the earth continues to revolve around the sun, and the hot weather is approaching. The lockdowns of 2020 & 2021 created a huge disruption to swimming lessons for a whole generation of children who risk starting summer without basic water survival skills. With that comes the risk of a repeat of last summer, when drowning rates rose 30% in Australia.
Multiple strategies are necessary to combat these statistics and help keep our kids safer when in, on and around water. Remember and implement these important layers of protection:
Fence the pool and shut the gate
Teach kids how to swim
Maintain adult supervision
Learn how to do CPR

We are geared up and ready for reopening our doors on Monday 18th October for Term 4 lessons (subject to government confirmation).

Splashed! is proud of the ties and relationships we’ve developed and maintained over the past 11 years in Warriewood. We’re now asking our community to rally around and support small local businesses and help us move into a brighter, healthier and safer post-COVID world for everyone.
Our lessons timetable has been compiled and registrations are open!
Term 4 will be (fingers crossed) a 9 week term. The expected dates are:
START: Monday 18th October 2021
FINISH: Sunday 19th December 2021
Fees are $202.50
If you were booked in to swim with us in Term 3 and had paid your fees in advance, your registration has been transferred to the same time slot for Term 4.
If you had reserved a spot for Term 3 but did not make a payment, your fees will need to be settled by 22nd September in order to confirm your booking. From Thursday 23rd September all unpaid registrations will drop out of the system and spots made available to new enquiries.
